Spins
I warmed up with stroking. My L ankle was bugging me this morning at first but it got better eventually.
For today's lesson we worked just on spins. Doing the exercise, and then picking up the free foot. This did get better and I actually got one or two that looked like real spins! For about 2-3 revs, but unlike my standing start or windup spins it was a nice, tight circle. It's not at all consistent yet -- I am still dropping the free side a lot, and other issues. Still, it's progress.
