Jumps
Today's lesson was all jumps, mostly toe loop. We worked on getting the upper body to rotate in the takeoff of the jump, and to keep the arms at a 90-degree angle to each other. JJ said that even when I don't actually jump and land backward, he wants me to do an RFI3 right after to get used to getting my balance right afterward. It's a little weird, but he IS the coach :-).
For the last few minutes we worked on waltz jump, then waltz into the toe loop. Eeep.
